A Star That Will Shine in Every Sky
The Green Granite Mine, known as 'Gazik,' has, throughout its 24 years of dynamic operations, consistently attracted a strong following among both domestic and international markets. This includes numerous stone industry professionals and cutting-edge processing companies from various European countries. Its allure has captivated many engineers, architects, and designers. Located in the unique Gazik area of South Khorasan Province, this mine is one of the region’s distinctive granite mines, covering an area of more than 1.3 square kilometers in the surrounding high mountains.
ROVAMINE, employing the latest mining methods available in Iran, began operating this unique mine in mid-2022. Given the export-driven demand for its products and certain technical requirements that limit high-volume production while preserving the distinctive pattern of each grade, we focused on optimizing rather than excessively increasing output. Our emphasis has been on enhancing quality and maintaining design integrity in the formatting of quarried stone blocks. Through this approach, we aim to generate greater added value for all ROVAMINE stakeholders, especially our valued partners in stone-cutting facilities, as well as the engineers and architects who honor us by incorporating this stone into their designs.
Currently, this mine offers dark green granite in three distinct grades, each with its own unique depth and beauty. All three grades are primarily exported to European markets, the Gulf region, and occasionally China. Due to the stone's unique appeal, especially in the 'Verde Fantastico' grade, there is also strong and growing demand from domestic factories and projects, where it has established a loyal customer base. In line with this demand, ROVAMINE is committed to strategically managing the limited production of this product—constrained by certain technical factors—to better meet the increasing market demand for the mine's products.
The products from this mine are primarily used in interior and decorative spaces, such as kitchen countertops, bar tables, TV walls, feature walls behind bedroom headboards, and other luxurious interior elements. These applications include countertops and backdrop walls for reception areas, entryway lobbies in luxury buildings, and more.
